Moonlight ski runs
The ultimate snow experience by full moon: enjoy the longest run downhill run in the Matterhorn ski paradise by the light of the moon. You go to the ski area in the evening and enjoy an Asian meal at 3,883 m. above sea level in the Matterhorn glacier paradise restaurant & shop. Together with the piste control and rescue service, you then ski over the Trockener Steg and Furgg and back to Zermatt. The mountain world of Zermatt in the light of the full moon, with only a handful of people on the piste - a truly unique and magical experience.

In the evening, slip into your warm ski clothes again and head for the snow-covered, magical mountain world of the Rothorn. Enjoy a fondue in the cosy atmosphere before joining the piste control and rescue service for a romantic moonlight run back to the valley.

In the full moon, the 29 four-thousand-metre mountains around the Gornergrat appear even more majestic. Let yourself be enchanted, and enjoy the unique experience of skiing in the mystical glow of the full moon. Non-skiers can travel comfortably with the train. We will serve a fine cheese fondue in the Hotel Kulm Gornergrat.
