Tariff conditions

  • All prices in Swiss Francs and incl. 8% sales tax.
  • The exchange rate of the day applies for payment in Euros.
  • Prices and timetables are subject to alteration.
  • Bad weather, threat of avalanche, unplanned departure, service interruptions, closure of ski runs etc. do not constitute a claim for refunds /extensions.
  • Official ID including date of birth is mandatory and must be shown unrequested.
  • Half-day tickets will now also be sold to day visitors. Not valid on the Trockener Steg – Matterhorn glacier paradise route. Half-day tickets can be purchased from the points of sale of Zermatt Bergbahnen AG from 11.45 a.m.
  • No rides outside the official times are included in the ski pass / Peak Pass.
  • The ski pass / Peak Pass is personal and not transferable.
  • Each fraudulent use of a ski pass / Peak Pass, endangerment of third parties and rides on closed runs or protected forest / wildlife areas will result as following: ½-, 1 -, multi-day passes and monthly passes CHF 200.00 and the immediate revocation. For seasonal and annual passes must be paid an amount of CHF 400.00. All costs involved will be charged to the client. 
  • Reduced tickets are valid only with a reduction card, which must be shown when requested. Guests who misuse the reduction will be charged an administration fee of CHF 200.00 and the ticket will
    be immediately revoked.
  • If the ski pass / Peak Pass cannot be used due to an accident or illness, and a refund of the partially used pass is requested, you must present a doctor’s certificate of Zermatt or from a hospital in Upper Valais.
  • Routes (runs marked yellow): secured and signposted, not prepared, no checks.
  • According to the guidelines of SKUS, the ski slopes in our ski area are exclusively for the use of skiers and snowboarders. All means of transport that are used in a sitting position, such as snowbobs, are not permitted and will not be transported on any of the facilities in Zermatt. The only exceptions to this are handicapped persons in a seated position. Snowscoot® are permitted on the ski slopes of Zermatt and will be transported on all facilities – with the exception of chairlifts and ski lifts. Snowscoots ar not allowed in the summer ski area.
  • Passport photos are required if passes are used for more than 8 days.
  • Annual passes for children (kids up to 9 years of age) can only be purchased in combination with an annual pass for a parent.
  • Key card deposit: CHF 5.00.
  • Bookin for ski tickets online: www.matterhornparadise.ch or www.ticketportal.ch
  • No refund for tickets bought online.
  • Ski run accident insurance when purchasing a ski pass: additional charge CHF 4.00 / day.
  • For safety reasons, it is prohibited to ski on the slopes after the slopes have closed.
  • Access to the Italian ski resort is sold and invoiced under the name of the Cervino Spa company and the Cime Bianche Spa company. Precise details on the Italian and Swiss areas can be seen by the customer on posters near the sales locations of Zermatt Bergbahnen AG and on the visitor receipt.
  • All participants take part in offers at their own risk.
  • The organizers have no liability in this respect.
  • Participants must adhere to instructions from staff.
  • Elektrobus is not included in each ticket. More information on www.e-bus.ch.
  • In Italy it is mandatory for children up to 14 years of age to wear a helmet.
  • Free-riders and off-piste skiers are obliged to report any avalanche risks, closed off forest areas and nature reserves, and especially endangering of third parties.
  • Transport of baggage and sports equipment: Passengers are responsible for the proper transport of their own sports equipment and baggage. No liability will be assumed for damage or loss or the endangering of third persons through improper transport.
